How to get clients from a Facebook group in 7 days

Jacob Campos, Campfire Creative Media

Post one thing a day for seven days, each post built to get a specific reply: a poll, a this-or-that, a result with the method withheld, a direct ask. DM everyone who replies with three questions and an offer to talk. By day seven you have a list of buyers and a calendar with calls on it.

The seven days

Day 1: the poll

One question, three or four answers, about the problem you solve. "What's the hardest part of getting clients right now?" People reply to polls who never reply to anything else. Every vote is a name.

Day 2: which one are you

Describe two or three types of member and ask which they are. "Type A has leads but no time. Type B has time but no leads." Members self-sort in the comments, and now you know what to say to each one.

Day 3: the result, method withheld

Share a real outcome, yours or a client's, with the how left out. End with "want the breakdown? comment 'breakdown'." This is the post that surfaces buyers.

Day 4: the mistake

The one thing almost everyone in your niche does wrong, and what to do instead. No ask. This post earns trust for the asks around it.

Day 5: the story

How you got here. Where it was broken, what changed. People buy from people. Keep it under 200 words.

Day 6: the direct ask

"I have three spots to walk through [problem] with someone this week. Comment 'me' and I'll message you." Plain, specific, limited.

Day 7: the recap and the door

What happened this week, who it helped, and a link to book a call. Then the sequence starts again with a new poll on Monday.

The DM that books the call

Every reply gets a message within the day. It references what they said, asks three questions (what they're working on, what's in the way, what they've tried), and then offers a call only if the answers fit. The person who answers three questions books the call themselves. The person who doesn't was never a buyer, and you saved a call.

What to track

Replies per post, DMs started, calls booked. That's it. After two weeks you'll know which post types pull hands in your group. Run more of those.

The post templates and the DM script, word for word, are in MarketingOS.

Questions around the fire

What if nobody replies to my posts?

Start with the poll and the this-or-that post, which get replies from people who never comment. If those get nothing, the group is too small or off-topic for your offer; run the sequence in a larger group where you can post.

Should I post the DM offer publicly or privately?

Privately. The public post asks for a comment. The DM makes the offer. Pitching in the comments turns the group back into a feed.

How many people should I DM a day?

Everyone who replied, the same day. If that's more than 20, you have a bigger problem to solve: hire a setter or let an automation open the conversation.

Bring your numbers. We'll bring the matches.
